Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the indieauthors.social moderators.

   This server does not and will not condone, support, or allow intolerant or hateful communications of any kind. Violations of this rule may lead to immediate account deletion including all content posted to this instance.
4. Be Restrained to Author Topics.
   This instance has a narrowly focused community and set of author-related topics. Be restrained with posting opinions not related to indie publishing, indie authors, and indie books. There are many general-purpose instances in the Fediverse for this purpose. Posts, debates, or opinions making judgments on people's lifestyles, beliefs, personal identification, political affiliation, etc. are subject to moderation.
5. Be Active (Post).
   Indie Authors Social is an active and passionate community of Authors-Helping-Authors. Accounts will be suspended from this instance for prolonged periods of inactivity and: no profiles, no links, no posts., no follows, no favs, no boosts.
6. Abide by US Law.
   This server and data is hosted in the USA. All content posted to this instance must abide by and is subject to the laws of the USA.
7. Don't Sell Author Services.
   If your sole or predominant motivation for requesting an account on Indie Authors Social is to sell services to authors, that IS NOT the charter of this instance. If it's determined that you signed up under false pretense, your account will be disabled and all content removed from this instance.
8. Don't Post Copyrighted.
   Don't post copyrighted content unless you are the copyright holder or it falls under Fair Use w/attribution.
9. Don't spam your books.
